NEWPORT, R.I. (AP) — The music continues in Newport at the 55th anniversary of the Newport Folk Festival. Saturday's lineup at the three-day festival that started Friday includes Jack White formerly of the White Stripes, the recently reunited trio Nickel Creek and local favorites Deer Tick. On Sunday, acts including Mavis Staples and Jeff Tweedy are scheduled to play. The historic festival is perhaps best known as the place where Bob Dylan went electric in 1965.Read more on NewsOK.com
