Some main points: The film contains some of the best and most interesting uses of gore in recent memory A few notable influences include Akira, Terminator 2, Twelve Monkeys and Blade Runner Bruce Willis deserves an oscar nomination for his role here So does Emily Blunt This is one of the best movies of the year so far I was never fully convinced of Ryan Johnson's considerable talents until now.
