DES MOINES — At least 31 bargaining units for public employees face decertification, but an overwhelming number of city, county and school district employees in Iowa have voted to maintain their union affiliations, according to unofficial election results posted Wednesday by the Public Employment Relations Board.Board totals so far indicate that 26,965 employees participated in recertification votes that took place over a two-week period ending Tuesday afternoon.
