ATLANTA – Because of swift ticket sales, the Mega Millions jackpot was raised to an estimated $164 million for Friday’s drawing, Georgia Lottery officials have announced.The Mega Millions jackpot has grown since Sept. 15 and has rolled 15 times.One lucky ticket worth $5,000 was sold in Villa Rica from Tuesday’s drawing.Mega Millions offers two jackpot payment options: the $164 million annuity prize paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual graduated payments; or the cash option, which is approximately $98 million.It only takes $1 to play Mega Millions for a chance to win big.
