HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A convicted drug dealer linked to The French Connection heroin smuggling ring that spawned an Oscar-winning film of the same name is facing sentencing in another drug operation. Seventy-three-year-old Alfred Catino was one of 16 people busted by law enforcement officials in Connecticut in 2012 for distributing marijuana, cocaine and oxycodone in Fairfield County.
