A 23-year-old Augusta man was found fatally shot early today on Second Avenue. Eugene Brown Jr.., 2300 block of Franklin Street, had been shot at least once, Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen said. The body was found in the roadway just after 3 a.m., and Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner said.
