A 7-year-old boy who was reportedly abducted by a 26-year-old woman was last seen in a white Ford Focus near La Junta, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said in an Amber  Alert on Monday. A 63-year-old Park County woman died Friday night in a head-on collision on U. S. 285 near Conifer, according to Colorado State Patrol officials. Around 6 p.m. Friday, a woman driving a Dodge pickup truck southbound on U. S. 285 suddenly crossed into the northbound lanes and crashed into an Xcel service truck, state patrol officials said in a news release. The woman driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, state patrol officials said.
