In honor of Earth Day, LEGOLAND Florida has just become the first theme park in the U.S. to be completely powered by renewable solar energy. The 150-acre theme park teamed up with Tampa Electric to take LEGOLAND Florida off the electric grid for the entire day, an eco-friendly action that’s equivalent to removing three cars from the road for one year or planting six acres of trees.
