Lawsuit: Anti-abortion Group Secretly Recorded Providers

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — An association of abortion providers is asking a court to block the release of recordings they say were made by an anti-abortion group that has previously revealed several surreptitiously recorded videos of a Planned Parenthood leader discussing the sale of aborted fetuses for research. The National Abortion Federation filed a lawsuit Friday in San Francisco, seeking a temporary restraining order against the Center for Medical Progress. The lawsuit says the center's representatives recorded federation members at their annual meetings with the goal of smearing those who support abortion rights. The federation says it members will be further endangered if the recordings are released. An email to a leader of the Center for Medical Progress and a call to a public relations firm that has previously helped reach him weren't immediately returned.Read more on NewsOK.com
