CHURCH HILL — Sullivan South split a pair of nonconference outings Wednesday night in the Falcons’ Nest. The Lady Rebels extended their win streak to eight with a 48-37 victory in the opener, while the Falcons gained a split on the night with a 57-53 win over the injury-riddled Rebels. Volunteer coach Greg Barnett has watched his team play well and still come up short a number of times this year, but the Falcons’ Jacob Deal scored 26 points to boost Volunteer to the victory. “Jacob was huge for us, especially in the second half,” said Barnett.
