Kevin Costner’s Yellowstone renewed for a second season Deadline is reporting that the Paramount Network drama series Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner, has been renewed for a second season. The early renewal follows a record-setting premiere with 5.3 million viewers and the series now being recognized as second most-watched show behind The Walking Dead. Two-time Academy Award winner Kevin Costner stars as John Dutton, the patriarch of the family who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, under constant attack by those it borders – land developers, an Indian reservation, and America’s first National Park.
