Karen Jean Whitten

KINGSPORT - Karen Jean Whitten, 71, passed away during the evening hours of Tuesday (January 2, 2018). Jean was born on March 16, 1946 in Kingsport, TN to the late James & Lola (Whitted) Fields. Jean enjoyed crafting, quilting, wood-working, and spending time with her family and friends. Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend; she will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Whitten; brother, Otis W.
