An Akron man heard his fate Wednesday when a jury recommended a sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 25 years for helping to carry out a quadruple murder at a Chapel Hill-area townhouse.Deshanon Jammal Haywood, 23, was convicted of multiple counts of aggravated murder by the same Summit County jury two weeks ago, but was found not guilty of all gun-related charges in the April 2013 shooting deaths.After deliberating for nine hours over parts of two days in the penalty phase of Haywood’s second trial, jurors announced their decision shortly before 10 a.m.
