Jason Statham is set to star in Viva la Madness, the sequel to Layer Cake. He will be taking over the role Daniel Craig originated. Statham will be producing alongside his producing partner Steve Chasman. JJ Connolly, who wrote the novels Cake and Madman are based on, will be penning the screenplay.
