Burglars unsuccessfully attempted to break into an Augusta business through its roof. Late Sunday or early Monday, at least one person tried to break into C&M Curb Market, in the 600 block of East Boundary Street, by removing a corner of the building’s roof, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office incident report. Deputies found tools on the roof, and shingles and felt paper had been removed. But the burglars didn’t get in and nothing was taken from the business.
