Sleepnumber is an adjustable "smart" mattress whose sensor-package include a microphone and weight sensors; the microphone collects data including your heartrate, respiration and snoring; the other sensors detect your "movement" and "positions" and this data is transmitted to Sleepnumber for indefinite retention, sharing with third parties, etc. It's a mattress with a microphone. Perhaps this is a good time to ponder the fact than no language in human history has evolved the phrase, "As secure as the microphone in an Internet-of-Shit mattress." What could possibly go wrong?
