Stephen Pearse’s epiphany of how he could make America better came during Big Boys Camp in February. He invited his boys — among them former Apple CEO John Sculley and Robert Metcalfe, the guy who co-invented Ethernet and founded 3Com — to his winter home in Florida where they played a game he dreamt up called TROYL, or the rest of your life. Pearse, who runs Boulder investment firm Yucatan Rock Ventures, had a hidden agenda.
