Icymi: Steve Jobs For Sale; Lindsay Lohan Loses In Court

In a week when millions of Americans tweeted, screamed and sometimes even talked rationally about a crucial social issue — all because of a thoughtful, heartfelt and controversial stance taken by a candidate (for starting quarterback) — we also saw: People were offered the chance to bid on some used (and, well, relatively useless) items once owned by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. TechCrunch reported that the items, offered this month through Julien’s Live, include such things as a leather jacket, business cards and a NeXT-branded turtle neck. A New York appeals court dismissed a lawsuit by actress Lindsay Lohan, who had argued that the producers of the “Grand Theft Auto V” video game modeled a character after her, complete with her physical features, clothing, shoulder-length blonde hair and voice.
