GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Police in north Georgia say human remains were found in a wooded area. Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook tells local news media that human remains of a male were found Friday afternoon. The body had been decomposed and will be sent for an autopsy. Holbrook says foul play has not been ruled out. Police are unsure how long the body has been sitting in the area. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is helping with the case.
