While diners ate in restaurants at The Jacksonville Landing, a second-floor room of the riverfront mall served up a buffet of ideas about what the city and the Landing’s owner should do about the site. Dozens of people turned out for the first public meeting of the Downtown Investment Authority’s fresh-start approach to coming up with a design for what the Landing should look like in the future. “I wish we could fit all your ideas onto the property, but that’s not possible,” DIA board member Doris Goldstein told residents who sounded off on what they’d like to see. read more
