ROGERSVILLE — A Hawkins County man with a lengthy criminal record dating back nearly 40 years was arrested Wednesday accused of selling pills from an oxymorphone prescription he received with assistance of Medicare.Fred Willard Chamberlain, 58, 120 Skyview Drive, Rogersville, receives a doctor’s prescription for 56 oxymorphone pills per month, which according to the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office has a street value of $2,800.Hawkins County Sheriff Ronnie Lawson stated in a report Thursday that the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit had been investigating Chamberlain recently after receiving information from a tipster that he was involved in the unlawful distribution of oxymorphone.
