Hawaii: General Fund Deposits Up 5.9% In February

Hawaii general fund deposits for February were down 4 percent compared to the same month in 2010, according to a report from the Hawaii Department of Taxation. The decrease in funds is attributed to accrued income tax refunds that were released last July. If the accrued refunds are factored out, the general fund deposits for February actually increased by 2.6 percent.
