Guerrero, Palmer Go Deep Again, K-mets Drop Twins

KINGSPORT — Kingsport used its power game to pick up its second straight Appalachian League win. The K-Mets smacked 10 hits on the way to a 7-2 victory over the Elizabethton Twins on Friday at Hunter Wright Stadium in the opener of their three-game series. BIG AT THE PLATE Every player in the lineup but one had a hit for Kingsport (3-1). Gregory Guerrero provided the biggest offensive punch with his second home run in as many games.
