Green Line Power Problem Forces Riders To Evacuate

A “power problem” has forced the MBTA to suspend Green Line service between Government Center and Arlington Stations at Boylston Station, MBTA officials said.The issue, which was first reported about 1 p.m., began with the T reporting “moderate delays” due to a “power problem” at Boylston Station.About 30 minutes later, the T posted an update to Twitter announcing the suspension.Pictures posted by passengers to social media showed stranded passengers evacuating a disabled train and walking down the tracks to the station.
