Girls Basketball: La Center 52, Kalama 42

The Wildcats outscored Kalama 20-3 in the third quarter to rally for a non-league win at home. Trailing 27-19 at halftime, La Center was a different team after the break. “We changed up our defense and decided to wake up,” Wildcats coach Herm VanWeerdhuizen said. Lauren Fox sparked La Center in the third quarter, scoring eight of her 14 points.
