Freeze Expected Before Weekend Warmup In Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs' cooler weather will lead to sub-freezing temperatures Thursday morning before temperatures bounce back up into the 70s in time for the weekend. The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted highs of 57 degrees Wednesday and 58 degrees Thursday, with a freeze watch from 2-10 a.m. Thursday. "Thursday morning lows will be below 32 degrees and will kill off any sensitive vegetation," Gazette news partner KKTV reported. But on Friday, there will be a high of 74 degrees, followed by a Saturday high of 78 degrees, according to the weather service forecast.
