Former Muskogee Detective Sentenced To 4 Years

MUSKOGEE - A former Muskogee police detective will spend four years in prison for possessing stolen firearms and falsely claiming to be a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Kris Ledford, 31, of Broken Arrow was sentenced Tuesday in federal court after pleading guilty to the charges in November. Ledford received concurrent four-year sentences for both the firearms and stolen valor charges. He will serve three years of probation upon his release from prison. Ledford was instructed to report to the Bureau of Prisons on May 15, assistant U.S.
