Former Jackson Tax Preparer To Spend 3 Years In Prison, Pay $60,594 For Fraud

IRS Criminal Investigation Public Information Officer JoAnne McLean said Richard Williams was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Stephen J. Murphy III on July 17. Murphy sentenced Williams to 3 years in prison, 1 year supervised release and ordered he pay $60,594 in restitution for 20 counts of tax fraud he was convicted of in February.
