STAMFORD-Five firefighters will be recognized next week for saving the life of a heart attack victim at a martial arts class in December. Deputy Fire Chief Patrick Tripodi said off-duty firefighter Lance Adams was in a martial arts class at the Summer Street martial arts studio on Dec. 19 when a 56-year-old man suffered cardiac arrest. Adams actuated the 9-1-1 system and began CPR on the man.
