You can try and tackle these events lower than level 50 but the Special Resistance Medals are a Performance Reward, so you’ll need to be contributing significantly in order to be in the running for one. If you do manage to get a Special Resistance Medal as a reward for your event efforts, you can then use these to acquire Epic Armor Lithographs without needing to own the armor piece beforehand. What is unfortunate though is that you will need a whopping forty Special Resistance Medals as well as one Precious Parchment to make an Epic Armor Lithograph.
