Stories Related to Early Morning Fire Destroys Vacant Lima House

LIMA — No one was injured Thursday in an early morning fire at a vacant home. The fire at 483 S. McPheron Ave., was reported at 2:48 a.m. When firefighters arrived, the house was fully engulfed, said Cpt. Andy Heffner of the Lima Fire Department. The fire caused an estimated $19,000 in damage to the home that did not have electricity on.
