Ducklings Rescued From Brookfield Storm Drain

BROOKFIELD — A family of baby ducks was reunited with their mother Friday morning after police rescued them from the bottom of a storm drain. Police said a woman was driving along Route 133 in front of Saint Joseph School when she saw an injured duck on top of a storm drain. When the driver approached the animal, she noticed the mother duck was standing guard over a brood of 11 ducklings who had fallen through the grate, police said on their Facebook page.
