Drug Investigation Leads To Kingsport Motel

BLOUNTVILLE — Two women face multiple charges after meth, a gun and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found in their Lynn Garden motel room. According to a Wednesday press release from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, the arrests were made Monday night at the Travel Inn, 805 Lynn Garden Drive. The SCSO Vice and Narcotics Unit was reportedly led to the location through a continuing investigation into methamphetamine distribution. At the motel, detectives spoke with Brittany Thompson, 31, of Mount Carmel, and Sandra Vermillion, 45, of Church Hill.
