A driver was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night near the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, police said. An Acura sedan crashed just before 8 p.m. as it was heading south in the 5800 block of North Nevada Avenue, police said. The vehicle went off the road, struck two light poles and rolled over before resting on its side, police said. The driver was extricated by the Colorado Springs Fire Department and taken to a local hospital, police said. The driver's injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.
