Douglas County officials will rename a Highlands Ranch roadway after the STEM School student killed in 2019 after charging an armed classmate during a school shooting. The Board of Douglas County Commissioners on Tuesday approved renaming Lucent Boulevard, which stretches from County Line Road to South Broadway, to Kendrick Castillo Way.
