Don't Forget: Tax Day Is Tuesday

Procrastinators, take note: Tuesday is Tax Day, the last day to file income tax returns. This year's due date is April 17 because April 15 fell on a weekend, followed by a holiday, DC Emancipation Day, reports the Colorado Department of Revenue. Unless someone has filed for an extension, any mailed tax returns must be "properly addressed, postmarked and deposited in the mail by the due date," the IRS advises.
