NORTON — The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation has announced more than $1 million in total grant awards to 161 organizations in 11 states, including a $15,000 grant to Family Crisis Support Services in Norton. The focus of the Critical Community Needs grants are to help provide food, shelter and care for people in need, Dominion Energy said. “While many of us look forward to a new year, we recognize that many people in our communities struggle to afford the basics needed for a secure, healthy and productive life,” said foundation President Hunter A.
