Denver Weather: Near-record Heat Roasts The Metro Area Tuesday, City Opens Cooling Centers

The Denver area will see near-record heat Tuesday as temperatures approach 100 degrees for the third time this summer, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures between 98 and 101 degrees are expected across Denver, the city’s metro suburbs, Fort Collins and Boulder, according to a NWS heat advisory. The advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m.
