DENVER (AP) — Flights are being delayed by an average of about an hour at Denver's airport because of snow. The airport is expected to get up to 4 inches of snow Wednesday, most of it before noon. Airport spokeswoman Laura Coale says the FAA implemented a traffic management program to intentionally spread out flights to allow time for planes to be deiced and keep runways plowed and prevent passengers from being stuck in planes waiting for an open gate. Up to 18 inches are expected by the end of the day in parts of the mountains.Read more on NewsOK.com
