BRENTWOOD, N.H. - Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams said today he has cited Danville Police Chief Wade Parsons for not properly storing a handgun in his home, a weapon that a 15-year-old boy staying in Parsons’ home used to kill himself March 11. “It is my hope that out of this tragedy will come increased awareness by gun owners that they are responsible for the way they store their weapons,” Reams told reporters today.
