According to a statement released Wednesday, the university’s police department has been receiving a number of calls concerning a person or persons appearing in public areas wearing a clown custom. “As always, officers are conducting regular patrol checks on campus and in public areas to ensure the safety of our community,” Western police said in a statement issued Wednesday.
