The Crystal Lake Police and Fire departments responded to a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening at the intersection of Route 31 and Three Oaks Road. Crystal Lake Police Sgt. Ryan Coutre said a truck was traveling northbound on Route 31 when it tried to go west on Three Oaks. The truck collided with a SUV that was traveling south. Coutre said the injuries suffered in the crash were non-life threatening, and both vehicles sustained moderate damage. The crash still is under investigation, Coutre said.
