HAMDEN >> An injured red-tailed hawk's health outlook remains uncertain after it sustained a serious injury to its wing Monday.The raptor was found at about 9:30 a.m. Animal Control Officer Christopher Smith responded to the area of Shepard and Sherman avenues on a report that an injured hawk was standing in the middle of the street, according to a release.

HARTFORD (AP) >> Connecticut's public-private partnership to provide funds for clean energy projects has won an innovation award from Harvard University.The Green Bank will receive the Innovations in American Government Award later this summer in a ceremony in Hartford.
