Check out this postcard showing the Koreshan Geodetic Survey near Naples. Note the rectilineator instrument the was used to create a straight measuring line and 'prove' the earth is concave. The short gentleman in the center with the creased black hat, next to the woman in white, is identified as Ulysses G. Morrow, who headed the geodetic survey and apparently wrote much of The Cellular Cosmogony. Photo courtesy of the State Archives of Florida.
