Fired non-profit director under investigation

The fired executive director of a Bonita Springs social services non-profit is under investigation for misuse of donations made to the agency, a board member confirmed. Marjorie Kasell-Johnson was ousted from her role as director of the Bonita Springs Assistance Office on Sept. 4 by the board of directors because she is suspected of misappropriating $15,000 to $30,000, said board member Scott Duval.
