URBANA — Market at the Square, Urbana's outdoor farmer's market, will open for the season Saturday morning.
Vendors will be on site from 7 a.m. to noon in the usual location at the corner of Illinois and Vine streets by Lincoln Square.
The market will be held each Saturday morning, rain or shine, through Oct. 26.
This is the 40th year for this popular outdoor market.

DANVILLE — A man who was arrested minutes after a bank robbery last year in Danville has been sentenced to 30 months of mental-health court probation.

After entering the judge's chambers with his defense team for 21 minutes, the accused kidnapper and killer was asked if he was satisfied with the decision, knowing that if he tries to offer it in the future, it could be denied. 'Yes,' he answered from the defense table.

What is being considered is a project of up to 200 megawatts that Apex Clean Energy hopes to have online by the end of 2021, providing an estimated $65 million in tax revenue to county governments over 30 years.
