The select group Garfield Elementary of third- and fourth-graders, under the direction of music teacher Joe Legg, have been learning about jazz through Link Up, Carnegie Hall's longest-running education program.

DANVILLE — When the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra welcomes guest musicians at a special concert series next week, some Garfield Elementary School students will be among them.
