Cops: Danbury Man Caught Breaking Into Ex’s Home

DANBURY — A city man and his new girlfriend were arrested Tuesday after police caught them trying to break into his ex-girlfriend’s home, authorities said. Police learned of the attempted burglary about 10 p.m. and immediately headed to the victim’s house, according to the report. When the officers arrived, they caught Justin Balzarini and Brookfield resident Madison Prush trying to break into the home, police said. Balzarini, 20 and Prush, 26, were each charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, breach of peace, among other offenses. They were held on $10,000 bond.
