DENVER - High school juniors in Colorado can relax a little. They will be taking the ACT college entrance exam on April 19 as usual and not the SAT, as many had thought was the new plan. The Colorado Department of Education announced on Dec. 23 it would award The College Board, which administers the SAT exam, a five-year contract to provide the test free to all public school juniors and the PSAT to 10th graders.
