The new action-sports league being launched by Shaun White will air on NBC beginning next year. On Tuesday, the league and NBC revealed that the first event is set for March 7-8 in Aspen, with the rest of the schedule still to be announced. A motorcyclist was killed in an early morning Aurora crash on Monday after a sedan swerved into the bike’s path, police said. The unidentified man was riding a stolen Harley Davidson westbound down East Jewell Avenue around 12:20 a.m. Monday when an older, beige sedan intentionally side-swiped the motorcycle, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department. Police said the sedan caused the motorcyclist to lose control of the bike and crash at the intersection of East Jewell Avenue and South Havana Street. Paramedics took the man to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.

Grammy-winning artist Jack White will play a pair of dates at Mission Ballroom next year, following an unorthodox promo tour that saw him performing at venues many times too small for his draw — including Denver’s Bluebird Theater. White, one half of the former garage-rock duo The White Stripes, will headline the River North Art District’s Mission Ballroom on May 8 and 9, 2025.
